  • 2 Standard (i.e. heavy duty - size 200/25) needles
  • 1 threaded spool of 0.8mm waxed thread (about 10m of thread),
  • 1 little screwdriver (not shown on picture)

    together with comprehensive step by step pictorial instructions.

Full Kit

For all your sewing needs, we propose the Stitch-It-Awl Full Kit, which gives you the capability to sew/repair basically everything.

The Full Kit comprises of:

  • The tool and comprehensive step by step pictorial instructions.

  • 2 Standard needles (size 200/25) and 1 reel of 0.8mm waxed thread (Marlow No 4): for sewing/repairing 12 oz sailcloth, clew and tack of lighter sails, thick canvas, sail covers/ dodgers, harness webbing,  shoes...

  • 2 Fine needles (size 160/23) and 1 reel of 0.5mm waxed thread ( Marlow No 2): for sewing/repairing 7 oz sailcloth, lighter canvas, bags, jackets, light upholstery...

  • 2 Ultrafine needles (size 130/21) and 1 small reel of polyester thread: for  sewing/repairing light spinnakers, small zips, thin leather, thick curtains..., and even your clothes.
  • 2 spools: 1 threaded with 0.8mm waxed thread, 1 empty (for the 0.5mm waxed thread)
  • 1 tiny O-ring on the tension post screw to prevent slippage when using 0.5mm waxed thread or the thinner Polyester thread
